As a founding partner of Bain Mazza & Debski LLP, Katie Bain brings many years of specialized experience in employment law and personal injury to the mediation table. Licensed in both California and Nevada, Katie has a unique ability to bridge the gap in complex disputes, drawing on her background in high-stakes litigation to foster reasonable and efficient resolutions.
Building on a career of representing clients in hundreds of mediations alongside her partner, Laura Mazza, Katie has transitioned her extensive litigation background into a successful mediation practice.
To expand on her decades of first hand litigation experience, she completed mediation training through UC Davis, mastering the specialized techniques necessary to serve as an effective neutral. Known for her direct and pragmatic style, Katie has a keen ability to cut through the noise and quickly hone in on the core strengths and weaknesses of each case. This analytical precision allows her to deliver candid, high-level risk assessments that move parties past impasse and toward resolution.
